Worship in 2014 uses a wide variety of musical styles not always suitable for organ accompaniment. We have at present a small but enthusiastic group of three guitarists, a bass player and a keyboard player. In past years we have had other instruments; such as flute, oboe, alto-saxophone, trumpet, trombone and drum kit, played by younger members. Most of them joined the Group when they had reached a Grade 3 (Associated Board) and stayed with us until they left school and moved away to study.
The Music Group accompanies worship on the last Sunday of each month and rehearses the previous Monday at 7pm in the Church at St Andrew’s.
